Bumper Weekend For Equine America Brand Ambassadors!
Our Ambassadors have had the most amazing weekend across all disciplines!!
We must start with the brilliant win in Cannes - Maikel Van Der Vleuten and Beauville Z N.O.P were the Champions in the Longines Global Champions Tour!
Harrie Smolders and Monaco N.O.P were also representing and finished in the top 10, coming in 7th!
Maikel and father Eric van der Vleuten took several top 5 placings in the other classes at Cannes, joined by John Whitaker on Equine America Unick Du Francport, whose clear round helped the Valkenswaard United team finish 3rd in the Global Champions League!
Back in the UK at Bramham Horse Trials our Eventers were on fire! Almost literally, lots of Apple Lytes needed!!
Pippa Funnell claimed the CCI4* L, with Jesse Campbell hot on her heels in 3rd! Harry Mutch picked up a top 10 placing with one horse, and followed it up with a 14th on his second horse. Jesse Campbell's second rider also finished in the top 20!
In the CCI4*S Zara Tindall was the Equine America ambassador on the podium, finishing in 3rd with Class Affair. Xanthe Goldsack joined her in the top 10 with Hi Tech. Kristina Hall-Jackson had 2 great rounds and finished up in the top 20 on one. Georgie Campbell had 2 slightly inexperienced horses who both had great learning experiences!
Finally at Bramham, in the CCI4*L u25, Emma Thomas picked up 6th!
Back on arenas, at Wellington Riding Premier League Sadie Smith and Swanmore Dantina finished 2nd in the Prix St George Freestyle and Louise Bell and Into the Blue sneaked into the top 10 in the Grand Prix Freestyle!
Our younger ambassadors picked up top 10 placings in both their individual and team tests - Lily Laughton in the Young Riders and Fleur Pocock in the Pony classes.
Over in Europe, Zsófia Marcsó completed the CE2* 120km Endurance and claimed her qualification for the European and World Championships!
Last but not least, onto horses and wheels - Phoebe Matthews rounded out a brilliant weekend becoming Champion at Cricklands National in the Pony Pairs Carriage Driving, leading from start to finish!
