Holy Star Records First Mauritian Victory

Last weekend, three-year-old Holy Star recorded his first victory since arriving in Mauritius, securing the win in only his second race start on the island.

Imported from South Africa, Holy Star faced a period of adjustment following his arrival in Mauritius, including adapting to the local climate and training environment.

Trainer Arveen Nagadoo was the first trainer in Mauritius to introduce Equine America supplements into his yard. During this period, Holy Star's nutritional programme included Coff-Less, and more recently Xtra Boost Paste as part of his pre-race preparation.

Speaking about his experience, Arveen said:

"We decided to introduce Equine America supplements into the yard and have been pleased with how easy the products are to incorporate into our feeding programme. Holy Star has been receiving Coff-Less and more recently Xtra Boost Paste as part of his routine."

Following the horse's recent success, Equine America will also be providing supplements for two additional horses within the yard as part of an ongoing collaboration.

Emma and Nathalie, who represent Equine America in Mauritius, commented:

"It was fantastic to see Holy Star secure his first win in Mauritius. We are grateful to Arveen for being the first trainer locally to try the Equine America range, and we look forward to continuing to learn more about the needs of racehorses competing in Mauritius."

Alongside activity within the racing sector, awareness of the Equine America brand continues to grow across the wider equestrian community in Mauritius.
