I run a sheath cleaning business (Diamond Winky Wash) throughout the Home Counties and have used this product for many years, cleaning thousands of horses, ponies and donkeys with it. It is, without doubt, the very best sheath cleaner on the market! The fact that it has no nasty, harmful chemicals…is gentle but effective at removing build up (and we know those sheaths and mare parts can get VERY dirty!), it’s unrivalled in my opinion. I know that some horses can react to certain products being used to clean their sheaths, but in all the time I’ve used this product, I haven’t had one single horse show any type of allergic reaction. Winky Wash Sheath Cleaner: Simply The Best!!

This is the best winky wash! Its consistency is thick so it can be applied without gravity making it run off. My boy gets quite a dry and dirty manhood. It's cleaned all of the grub off in no time and then a very easy rinse. Best stuff I've bought!

Why Routine Sheath Cleaning Matters in Everyday Grooming

As part of normal management, the sheath area can accumulate:

Dirt from the stable or field
Natural secretions
General environmental build-up

Routine external cleaning is a hygiene practice, similar to cleaning other external areas during grooming. Not all horses require frequent sheath cleaning, and the need varies between individuals.

What Makes Winky Wash Suitable for Routine Use?

Winky Wash is a non-medicated hygiene cleanser designed for routine external sheath cleaning as part of normal equine care. It is intended for use on health horses and is suitable for inclusion in regular grooming routines where occasional sheath cleaning is required.
